I wanted to drop a line to you
guys (Don and Tom mostly) at Guthrie
Bldgs and let you know that our
garage came through hurricane Ike
without a scratch. We had sustained
winds of 100 mph and gusts of 121
mph reported in the area. I had some
reservations when Don told me that
the building would withstand these
conditions and had hoped not to
"test" it quite so soon. We just
finished hanging doors and molding
last Wednesday. We did however have
two humongous trees come down next
to the bldg - one missed it by 3'8".
Thanks for designing and
constructing such a fine building. I
hope you all came through as well
and your family, friends, homes and
business are all ok.
